Writing and Art

During the winter our writing focused on opinion.  From whether or not it is okay to squish an ant to why we feel we are fortunate in our lives, we had a lot of fun with this mode of writing.

  

When I was in kindergarten I did this project...

I do a variation of it with my own students and this year I integrated it with writing with a focus on verbs and synonyms.  This project is definitely one of my favorites so far this year.
